Lee Grant to assess Walsall defensive duo Declan Skura and Rico Browne
Rico Browne and Declan Skura are injury doubts for Walsall heading into the weekend.
Lee Grant says Walsall will assess defensive pair Declan Skura and Rico Browne ahead of their trip to Exeter City on Saturday.

Skura was struggling with a leg issue during the Saddlers’ 2-2 draw at Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night and was subsequently forced off at half-time.
Grant was unable to provide much clarity on his current condition and will be monitoring him leading up to their clash in Devon.
Walsall monitor Skura leg issue

“It was his leg. He actually mentioned that he was feeling something before half-time, but it wasn’t so bad that he couldn’t get to half-time,” head coach Grant said.
“We got him to the interval and then we made that choice. Hopefully, fingers crossed, he will be OK.”
He continued: “We’re still waiting for the final answer on that. We’ve not had loads of training time over the last 24 hours.
“We’ve got to assess Declan and one or two others as well to make sure that they’re going to be OK for what is going to be a tough game.
“The honest answer is I don’t have any news to give you. We will give Declan as much time as he needs.”
Grant injury update on Browne

Browne was absent from the midweek draw at Gresty Road, after picking up a calf problem in the 3-2 home victory over Accrington Stanley last weekend.
The right-back was also taken off at the break, although Grant was hopeful that he could still be in the reckoning for Crewe.
That proved not to be the case, and although he has been back on the grass this week, Grant will make a decision on his condition closer to the weekend.
“Rico is on the grass and boots on, but probably a little bit more to do to feel comfortable,” he added.
“So we’ll see how the next 24 hours go.”
