Walsall striker Jabo Ibhere is ready to prove he made the right decision as he prepares to face his former club.
The Saddlers hitman made a summer switch from Leyton Orient to the Banks's Stadium, after nine years at Brisbane Road.
He feels his decision has been vindicated, after two goals in his first four games.
He said: "I had been there since I was a kid and all I knew was Orient. It was the right time to go. It was a wrench to leave, because it is a big move and different from what I am used to.
"There are no regrets. It is just another learning curve I have to go through."
The 25-year-old admits, when he runs out onto the pitch, he will struggle to work out who to play for when he looks at the two teams.
He said: "I am just looking forward to the game like any other but it is going to be weird when I get on the pitch, look around and think how I know everyone on here.
"It is going to be funny but you experience different things in life and it is something you have to cope with."
Even the phone calls and banter flying between him and his former teammates have failed to ruffle Ibehre's feathers.
He said: "This week I have had some calls and texts from my old teammates and there have been a few jokes. There's been no bets though, we're not really into that."
The burly striker, who has impressed with his work rate, has promised to give his all in tomorrow's clash.
He said: "I like to go out there and give it my all. That is what you are going to get with me, 100 per cent in everything I do. If people like that then fantastic, all the better for me."
With all the differences between London and the West Midlands, Ibhere has noted a few similarities between former manager Martin Ling and Saddlers boss Jimmy Mullen.
He said: "They are both fairly similar.
"They both try to get the best out of you but Jimmy is more of a disciplinarian and Martin is more laid back.
"They are both nice guys and I think that helps, they are good honest people, which is the main thing."
