MYLES ROBERTS

Hesitant when emerging off his line, particularly when Ryan Graydon rounded him in the first half, only for Aden Flint to come to the rescue.

Hesitant: 6

HARRISON BURKE

Guilty of turning over the ball at times which ultimately led to a couple of counter-attacks for Fleetwood. Improved and more composed after the break.

Mixed: 6

ADEN FLINT

His footballing intelligence was key once again and his last-ditch challenge prevented Graydon from tapping into an empty net.

Intelligent: 8

EVAN WEIR

Threatened with his delivery, especially from set plays, and came close with an early free-kick which whistled over the crossbar.

Threat: 7

LEWIS WARRINGTON

The youngster continues to grow in confidence and stature. Very tidy in possession and smashed a rocket onto the bar in the second half.

Growing: 7

CONNOR BARRETT

Linked the play well and looked very steady defensively, which is an area of his game that continues to go from strength to strength.

Steady: 7

RYAN FINNIGAN

Showed great energy and never shirked a challenge in a sometimes scrappy midfield battle. Looked dead on his feet when he was replaced past the hour.

Energetic: 7

COURTNEY CLARKE

Electrifying on the ball at times and brings fun to the game with his direct style. Could look for the simpler option sometimes, but impressed on his first league start.

Impressed: 7

VINCENT HARPER

Continues to seize his chance at left wing-back with another solid display. Fast emerging as one of Walsall's most consistent performers.

Consistent: 7

AARON PRESSLEY

Imposed his physicality on the game in the first half and knocked the ball down into good areas, but somewhat faded after the break.

Faded: 6

DANIEL KANU

Enjoyed the analogy of needing a "mind like a goldfish as a striker" last week. Conveniently brushed off an early miss to equalise for Walsall.

Key: 8

Substitutes: Brandon Comley (for Warrington, 66) 7; Rico Richards (Finnigan, 66) 7; Albert Adomah (Kanu, 78); Jamille Matt (Pressley, 78); Jid Okeke (Clarke, 90 +1)

Unused: Hornby, Browne.
