Walsall have collected just two wins from their last eight home games in League Two, after starting the campaign with five wins from six league games at Bescot. 

After ending 2025 with a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Oldham Athletic, Walsall have registered back-to-back goalless stalemates against Accrington Stanley and Crawley Town on home soil since the turn of the year.

"Difficult to say. Teams know that traditionally we've been strong here in the past," the Walsall captain said.

"So maybe there is a little bit of a momentum shift with that. Then, when we go away, there is more of an impetus on that home team to come out and play.
