The Saddlers trailed 1-0 at the break, but Sadler made a double change, which proved instrumental in guiding them to a superb second half comeback.

McEntee set-up Freddie Draper for the equaliser on 59 minutes, before delivering the winner with his third of the campaign to secure all three points for Walsall.

Sadler has converted McEntee into a central midfielder during his time at the helm, and insists there are no doubts that he can flourish in the position.

"For me, there should be no doubts [that McEntee can perform in midfield] about that having seen performances like this," Sadler insists.

"I've seen every performance he has played this season. He's versatile and can go into the back line, which you saw him do for me in the last five or 10 minutes when I went into a 5-4-1 to finish the game off.
