The Saddlers fell behind after a slow start when Adam Mayor added the finishing touches to a classy Morecambe move.

Danny Johnson led the fight back with an equaliser in the 38th minute, and Sadler was impressed by his team's response.

"I keep mentioning constantly about what is the next thing that you do. We will go behind at times, that's going to happen," Sadler said.

"It's what you do next, how you learn from it, how you stick together, and I think we did that incredibly well in how we reacted to the goal, and how we imposed ourselves on the game."

Johnson saw his low effort tipped onto the post by Morecambe goalkeeper Stuart Moore with just over 10 minutes remaining.
