The 20-year-old made 15 appearances after joining the Saddlers on transfer deadline day back in August.

But only eight of those were starts, the most recent being on November 3, with Walsall boss Dean Keates choosing not to seek an extension for the rest of the campaign.

A Saddlers statement read: “Walsall FC can confirm that midfielder Connor Ronan has returned to parent club Wolves.

“We would like to thank Connor for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
