New signing out to put on a show for Aston Villa faithful
New boy Samuel Iling-Junior has set sights on becoming a fan-favourite after completing his move to Villa.

The 20-year-old wideman has promised to “put on a show” at Villa Park following his arrival from Juventus.
Iling-Junior, who began his career at Chelsea’s academy before moving to Italy four years ago, is returning to England eager to make his mark on the Premier League with Unai Emery’s team.
He said in an interview with VillaTV: “I’m someone who wants to play for the badge and for the team.
“I always want to put on a show for the team, dribbling and getting them excited.
“I want to improve as a player and break into the team as quickly as possible.
“The manager’s developed a lot of players, so I want to work closely with him and push on.”
Iling-Junior made 45 appearances for Juventus including nine in the Champions League, though the majority of his outings came from the bench.
Utilised at wing-back by England under-21s, he can play anywhere on the left flank.
“It’s exciting and I just want to kick on and show the fans what I can do,” he continued.
“The stature of the club – they’re a big club with a lot of history and that’s something that definitely caught my eye.
“Playing in the Premier League is something that I always dreamt about as a little boy.
“I went off to Italy and got my experience there. Now I’m coming back to the Premier League from a different development system and I can bring that into my game here.”
Iling-Junior was one of two signings from Juventus confirmed by Villa on Monday, with Argentinian midfielder Enzo Barrenechea also swapping Turin for the West Midlands. The combined fee for the pair is thought to be around £21million.
Their arrival follows midfielder Douglas Luiz’s move in the opposite direction to Juventus from Villa, in a £42m deal which was essential to the Premier League club complying with profit and sustainability rules.
With winger Lewis Dobbin having also arrived from Everton for £9m, Villa have completed four signings inside the summer window’s opening month and Ross Barkley is expected to become the fifth.
