Aston Villa 3 Bournemouth 1 - Player Ratings
Matt Maher gives his Villa player ratings.

Emi Martinez
Didn’t save the penalty but did make a couple of big saves, most notably from Dango Outtara minutes after Villa had gone in front.
Saves 7
Matty Cash
Recovered well from conceding the penalty, which looked like a simple lapse in concentration. No shortage of energy.
Recovery 7
Ezri Konsa
Excellent for the second time in the space of as many days. Always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Kept a cool head.
Assured 7
Pau Torres
Might have had a goal in the opening half had Diaby been able to direct his cross a little more to the left. Strong again the heart of defence.
Cool 7
Lucas Digne
Will be a little disappointed about his delivery in the times he got into good positions. Solid enough in defence. Some key interventions.
Strong 7
Leon Bailey
Capped another strong display with his 10th Premier League goal of the season. Excellent pass to set Rogers away for the equaliser.
Sublime 8
Caught on the ball a couple of times in his own half when he was trying to do too much. But one of those days he was determined to be on the winning side.
Relentless 7
Youri Tielemans
Another strong performance in the second and final match Villa will be without Douglas Luiz. Emery might have a bit of a headache.
Classy 7
Morgan Rogers
Just seems to be getting better with every game. Took his goal superbly and then set Watkins away in the build up for the second.
Excellent 8
Moussa Diaby
Too weak in losing the ball in the build-up to the penalty but then won the ball to start the break for the leveller and scored the second.
Redemption 7
Ollie Watkins
Quiet in the first half, sublime in the second. Set up two goals and unlucky not to bag his 20th league goal.
Stunning 8
Substitutes
