Aston Villa youngster Jordan Lyden has left Villa Park on a season-long loan to Oldham.

The Australian midfielder hasn't featured this season under Steve Bruce, and was unlikely to see any major minutes in the Championship.

He joins Tommy Elphick in leaving the club on loan deadline day, with the defender heading to Hull in a similar move.

Villa continue to chase the signing of Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham, although a move for Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi is unlikely.
