FA Cup giant-killing hope for Stafford Rangers and Kidderminster Harriers
FA Cup first round proper draw made for Walsall, Stafford Rangers and Kidderminster Harriers
Stafford Rangers and Kidderminster Harriers will be hoping to pull off an FA Cup giant-killing after being drawn against Football League opposition.
Rangers, who face a replay on Tuesday night against Gateshead to secure a place in the first round proper of the competition, have been handed the lure of Grimsby Town at home if they can get past the North-Easterners.
They played out a 1-1 draw on Tyneside at the weekend. Rangers are expecting a sell-out crowd at Marston Road for Tuesday’s replay.
Should they get through, they will take on a Grimsby side who sit 15th in League Two.
Harriers have also been handed Football League opposition in Doncaster Rovers, with the tie to be played at Aggborough.

Rovers are 17th in League One after a difficult start to the season.
Meanwhile, Walsall were handed a trip to League Two rivals Newport County.
Saddlers, fifth in the division, sit six places above the Welsh side. Newport have won three, drawn five and lost three of their games so far this season.
The ties are due to be played over the weekend of November 7 and 8.
