Cheltenham Town 2-2 Walsall player ratings: One 8 as Saddlers blow two-goal lead
George Bennett gives his Walsall player ratings from their 2-2 against Cheltenham Town at the EV Charger Points Stadium in League Two.

Tommy Simkin - 7
Made an impressive near post save to deny George Miller late on but had very little chances of keeping out both of Cheltenham's late strikes.
Oisin McEntee - 7
Aerially dominant - Good in the air in both boxes as his flicked header forced Joe Day to parry into the goalmouth for Ellis Harrison to prod home the opener.
David Okagbue - 7
Solid - Booked for pulling down Manchester United loanee Ethan Williams in the first half but looked relatively solid in the centre of the back-three.
Taylor Allen - 7
Good - Tasked with defending a couple of teasing balls in behind but dealt with the danger well and set-up a header from Jamille Matt after venturing forward from the back.
Brandon Comley - 8
Alert - Kept his place in the team and served as a real calming influence to help settle the game down at times. Read the game so well and was first to so many balls.
Connor Barrett - 7
Lively - Perhaps fortunate to have gone unpunished for a shirt pull on Ethan Williams inside the box but threatened down the right with a lively performance.
Jamie Jellis - 7
Threat - Threatened between the lines with a series of neat passes and played a key role in Walsall's opener with his long throw. However, he was guilty of failing to clear his lines for Cheltenham's equaliser.
Ryan Stirk - 7
Fluent - Constantly looked to get on the ball and helped Walsall produce a fluent midfield performance with both his movement and accurate passing.
Liam Gordon - 7
Mixed - A livewire down the left especially going forward but perhaps was culpable of leaving George Miller unmarked at the back post to volley home Cheltenham's first goal.
Jamille Matt - 7
Relentless - Played well with his back to goal with a few tidy touches in the final third and pressed relentlessly to keep Cheltenham penned in before he was taken off midway into the second half.
Ellis Harrison - 7
Opener - Showcased his predatory instincts inside the box to pounce on Oisin McEntee's parried header and prod home from close-range.
Substitutes
Levi Amantchi (for Harrison, 69) - 6
Ineffectual - Struggled to have much of an impact after being introduced midway into the second half.
Albert Adomah (for Matt, 69) - 7
Pounced on a poor mistake from Sam Stubbs to round Cheltenham goalkeeper Day and tap into an empty net for his 99th professional goal.
Unused: Hornby, Williams, Weir, Lakin, Johnson.
