'Whatever he wants': West Brom fans savour away day victory and make James Morrison call after huge Bristol City win
It has taken 172 days but West Brom have finally won an away game.
A barren run on the road and their failure to win back to back games was ended with a narrow 1-0 win at Bristol City - thanks to George Campbell's first half header.
In truth it really should have been more as the second half chances began to stack up. The Robins stayed in the game and had openings but Albion held firm to pick up a huge win.
The victory, on the back of the win against Hull last week and results elsewhere, means Albion are not four points clear of the drop zone.
The bumper away following were delighted with that they saw and here is what some of the say.
One fan posted on X: "Just shows that football isn't played on spreadsheets. Back to basics.442 get the ball in the box Work hard for each other. Fair play Jimmy."
Another added: "A shame we’ve now got an international break just as we’ve got winning momentum but it seems like 2-3 players really need the break."

And a few of the fans are calling for Morrison to land the job beyond this season, with another joking: "Give him a white sheet of paper and let him write whatever he wants."
Another excited Baggie said: "Who knew that that the young, progressive coach that Bilkul had wanted was under their noses all along."
And another hailed Morrison, adding: "James Morrison’s vision for this team, organization and the trait at the sideline that flows from him to the team.
"Calm authority.. Absolute revelation as a coach, give him the job now, Shilen, full time.. Earned it."
