Unai Emery accepts responsibility for 'huge mistake' after Aston Villa lose at Liverpool
Unai Emery took responsibility for Emi Martinez’s “huge mistake” after Villa fell to defeat at Liverpool.
Martinez gifted Mo Salah the opening goal when he passed straight to the striker in the box.
But Emery, who has enjoyed huge success at Villa with his team passing out from the back, says they won’t be afraid to take risks in the future.
“We try to play with personality through our structures and through our rules,” he said.
“It was easy for Salah. It was a huge mistake but it was something in our process and my responsibility. I accept it.
