Threatened in the rare moments he ventured forward and performed well at right centre-back. Grew sloppy once he moved over to the left after the break.

PRIESTLEY FARQUHARSON 

Alert to the danger signs and swept up superbly whenever Northampton threatened to break in behind, providing good support for Browne.

EVAN WEIR 

Distributed well from deep on a couple of occasions in the first half and dealt with his defensive duties relatively well.

BRANDON COMLEY 

Showed good composure to keep the ball ticking along nicely and plugged the gaps between the lines intelligently before his half-time withdrawal.

COURTNEY CLARKE 

Played either side at wing-back and raced into some promising positions. His decision-making still has room for improvement and he was sloppy in possession at times.

JAMIE JELLIS 

Had the best chance of the first half when he headed wide. Showed good energy at times on his first start in over month.

RICO RICHARDS 

Enjoyed a few nice touches but faded into insignificance for large periods. His full 90 in the tank for six months though.

Caught out on a couple of occasions with runs in behind and was guilty of sacrificing possession in dangerous areas.

JAMILLE MATT 

Almost broke in behind early on from Weir's diagonal ball, but largely struggled to impose himself on the game.

ALBERT ADOMAH 

Threatened in bursts. Tested Ross Fitzsimons early in the second half and kissed the crossbar with a late cross.
