Two of those names are Tottenham's Ryan Mason and Minnesota United boss Eric Ramsay.
The pair have seen their names move up in the betting odds over the last week - as Albion undergo an extensive search to find Tony Mowbray's replacement.
Mason, the Spurs assistant manager who was forced to retire from playing early - has been mentioned for the Albion job in the past, namely before Mowbray's appointment earlier this year.
Ramsay is another to appear among the bookmakers odds, having been linked with the vacant position at Southampton last month.
The former Manchester United first team coach has a growing reputation in the game, and has helped Minnesota rise up the MLS table.
