"I can see what I want to achieve tactically" - Wolves boss still working on team's identity

The head coach has moved the team nine points clear of the drop with a consistent back five that has helped solidify a leaky defence.

Wolves are edging closer to securing safety and Pereira says he is not yet finished in perfecting Wolves' style and there are tactical steps still to take.

When asked if he has learned things about himself since joining Wolves, Pereira said: "Every day. I surprise myself every day, with good things and bad things.

"The Premier League is a fantastic experience. I'm happy inside.

"I feel I have arrived in the position that I tried all my life for and this is the happiness that I feel in this moment.

"Of course, I prefer if our position in the table was not this one, but I want to create something strong step by step.

"When we arrived here, the first target was to be defensively more consistent. In the game, in the tactical organisation and in set-pieces.

"After, another step, to give different tools to the team to start to create chances to score.

"The third step is to understand the moments that we must go fast and the moments that we need to keep the ball and to have quality in possession, to control the game, not only defending, but with the ball. This is step by step.
