Dave Edwards: Wolves show they can compete without Matheus Cunha
Wolves’ performance on Saturday against Everton was the polar opposite of what they produced in the return fixture earlier in the campaign.

After going a goal down, it was a point gained on Saturday night, but it could have easily been three. I think Wolves were the better team over the course of the 90 minutes.
The result shows how far the team has come since Vitor Pereira’s appointment. They looked solid, and they looked well organised. It was a professional display by everyone and a proper team performance, arguably one of the best we have seen this season. A far cry from what we saw at Goodison Park as they lost 4-0 back in December.
In the absence of Matheus Cunha, the spotlight was always going to be on Wolves. Could they pick up points without him? They showed they could.
With him in the team, it could have been three points rather than just one because he has that bit of magic to unlock defences.
Their goal was a bit lucky I thought, but I was pleased that Wolves did not really look like conceding over the course of the match.
Everton had one breakaway in the second half, but the way Wolves defended set pieces was really strong.
Pereira opted to play Marshall Munetsi as the attacking midfielder with Cunha suspended, and while he had a reasonably quiet opening 45 minutes, he got that vital moment.
I liken him to myself in a way that I needed goals in my game to almost justify to fans why you're in the team.
You need those moments because I watch him, and I see how much work he does for the team.
Munetsi creates space for other players. He is good at pressing. These are all things, which a manager will love, but it's not something that necessarily fans will notice all the time.
He can look like he's not really contributing when he actually is - so he needs these moments.
After they got that goal back, I would have liked for Wolves to have tested Jordan Pickford a little bit more, but overall, it was a good result.
Emmanuel Agbadou came back into the team, it was great to see him back. He made a huge difference. Beto has been in fine form for Everton, but he kept him very quiet.
The star of the match was in the heart of the midfield. It was Andre, who is getting better and better with every performance.
He breaks up play all the time, and he takes the ball in tight areas. I can't remember him giving the ball away - he was that good in possession.
I love his desire and his tenaciousness in the middle of the park. He really gives Wolves a different dynamic to what they have had.
It is a trip to Southampton next weekend, which a lot of the national media will say is an easy win for Wolves. It won't be. They are not doing very well in the Premier League this year, and they do have their faults. They will still be competitive. They went 1-0 up away at Liverpool on Saturday.
If Wolves can go there and win, then follow it up with a result against West Ham, then they are going to leave themselves in a great position.
If they can widen that gap, then that puts even more pressure on Ipswich by the time that vital clash at Portman Road comes about.
Both Ipswich and Leicester have got some really tough games coming up over the next few weeks - this is a vital period for Wolves.
