Dave Edwards: Wolves showed Premier League class with FA Cup win
There were lots of good things about Wolves' performance on Saturday.

It really did show the gulf between the Premier League and the Championship, against a side in Bristol City who are pushing for the play-offs, as Wolves looked far superior in every department.
I think the Bristol City fans turning up would have thought an upset was on the cards, because they had won the last three home games and hadn't conceded a goal, while Wolves, perceived to the national audience to be a struggling Premier League team.
Everyone thought it might be one of the upsets, but from about two or three minutes in, it was obvious that Wolves were up for it.
A lot of that goes down to the team selection from Vitor Pereira. I was really happy that he went as strong as possible.
I know they haven't got the luxury to make a lot of changes, but he still could have changed a few more things. Instead he named his strongest team.
It was a strong performance and some of the attacking play was fabulous.
This new life that Goncalo Guedes has got under Pereira has been brilliant to see, especially in the absence of Matheus Cunha. He's really stepped up to the plate.
From an attacking point of view, he was fabulous, finding positions on the backside of Bristol City's midfield. Not only doing that but receiving the ball on the half-term and driving quickly with it, eating up the space and then more often than not picking the right pass with wonderful vision for the second goal.
The two stand-out players for Wolves, due to the way they controlled the game, was the Brazilian pair in midfield in Andre and Joao Gomes.
There's not enough superlatives for Joao Gomes. I genuinely think that any team in the Premier League would take him, he's such a fantastic footballer.
The way he wins the ball back, I've waxed lyrical about that on numerous occasions.
He's becoming a lot better on the ball as well. He can receive the ball in tight areas and he manipulates it.
He's never going to be a player who cuts open defences with his passes, but the way he kept it moving, him and Andre had a real stability about them.
They were able to draw the Bristol City midfield onto them because of how good they were on the ball, and then in turn that created the space for Guedes behind them. They played a huge part in that.
The other man who's going to give Vitor Pereira an absolute headache when Nelson Semedo's back fit, and if Ryan Ait-Nouri's fit as well, is Rodrigo Gomes, because you have to get him in the team at the moment.
I absolutely loved him in pre-season. He's found it difficult since then to get into the team, but since Vitor Pereira's come in, he's been brilliant.
I love his work rate, love his attitude, love his body language. It looks like he's desperate to do well for Wolves. It looks like he absolutely loves being here.
Above all else, he's a goal threat. He scored again and he hit the post with another good chance.
In pre-season, he'd find himself in really good areas while Wolves were playing a 4-2-3-1 and he was playing on the wing, but he would always find himself on that back post, arriving at the right time, putting himself in a position to score a goal.

Now, he's doing it from wing-back as well. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well he's defended as well. In one-v-one, he's very good.
His pace to get back is extremely impressive. I said in pre-season that this youngster would be a star in old gold and I still believe that - he's a fantastic talent.
It'll be interesting when Nelson Semedo comes back to see where Rodrigo Gomes fits in. I hope he stays in the team.
Emmanuel Agbadou also made his debut and it was good to get him minutes before the Newcastle game on Wednesday.
He was solid enough against Bristol. It shows why Vitor Pereira wanted him with his pace, his power and his defending.
I thought he looked very comfortable against the Bristol City attack. They didn't provide too much threat and it was the perfect game for him to start to get up to speed before a very different game against Newcastle.
There were lots of positives to come from the game but the one negative from the day was Hwang Hee-chan's performance.
I really feel for Hwang at the moment, he's a player who looks really out of sorts.
When he first came on under Vitor Pereira at Leicester, he looked sharp and he looked like he was back at it. Then he got his goal at Spurs and I was hoping that might kick-start his season.
But he really struggled on Saturday. His ball retention was very poor, when it went into him, he lost it a lot of the time.
He gave away the foul for the free-kick because he got caught in the wrong position and then had two really big chances for him to put the game to bed.
He looks like a player who is devoid of confidence and you can see that in a player when they get chances like he did.
A player in form is very instinctive, you know they'll hit the target, but he never looked comfortable. He was leaning back, his foot patterns were all wrong.
I really hope he can find his form because he was so impressive last season. I really hope he can get back to form as quickly as possible because we will need him at some point this season.
