Leading West Brom duo on radars after stellar seasons

Academy graduate Fellows, 21, and striker Maja, 26, have enjoyed a stunning first half of the campaign for the Baggies.

It is understood there has been interest in the key pair with Premier League clubs reported to be keeping tabs.

But Albion are not in a position to let either player be plucked for under market value and will only entertain any official approaches should they be deemed an acceptable figure.

Owners Bilkul Football are working to bring Albion in line with financial fair play laws, with profit and sustainability regulations still restricting what can be spent. But the club, who recently received a £2.5million compensation package for ex-boss Carlos Corberan, are in no need to sell.

Winger Fellows leads the Championship assist charts in his first full season as a first-team regular. He has laid on 10 goals in 26 appearances and continues to be linked with a move to long-term admirers Everton, among other top flight clubs.

Albion rebuffed Southampton's offer of £10million prior to the end of the transfer window. The club valued the youngster significantly higher six months ago and Fellows has since gone on to perform as one of the Championship's standout suppliers, with figures to prove it.

Striker Maja, meanwhile, is making up for lost time after ankle injuries wrecked his first season at The Hawthorns.

The Nigerian, who has 18 months left on his deal, has 12 goals and is second behind Norwich's Borja Sainz in the scoring charts.

Maja is another to reportedly have admirers but Albion have no plans to lose their star striker. The former Sunderland, Fulham and Bordeaux frontman's goals and all-round play have caught the eye.

Albion's interim head coach Chris Brunt said on interest in the duo: "I don't think that's anything to do with me! They've done really well for the club this year.

"Josh Maja is one of the top strikers in the league, Tom Fellows has been incredibly consistent with assists and his performances for a young lad.

"They are two great assets to anybody in this league. That's part and parcel of football, if somebody's doing well in the Championship then naturally there will be speculation, I'm sure there are people watching all of our players at any given time, as we do to others.

"It's not for me to decide or advise anything. Somebody's got to make an offer and the club will have to decide."
