Stafford Rangers welcome back captain Paul Donnelly for their second away game of the week as the club head north to Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Donnelly was unavailable for Wednesday night's 1-1 draw at Worksop through work commitments, as he is employed as an administrator at Staffordshire University.

Kevin Street is Rangers' only injury absentee tomorrow, as he failed a fitness test on his injured groin on Monday night and hasn't trained since.

Street is still awaiting his competitive debut after rejoining the club this summer and, with a home game against Chorley to come on Tuesday, is set to sit out another two matches.

Rangers got their first point on the board on Wednesday night, 24 hours after Steels got off the mark with a home draw against Ashton United.

The Yorkshire outfit were beaten 1-0 at Marine on the opening day as Rangers fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to FC United of Manchester, so the home team are ahead in the table on goal difference going into play.

Donnelly makes the trip and is likely to be restored to the centre of defence alongside Ryan Dicker, with the two swapping the captain's armband since the opening day.

That is likely to mean new-boy Lee McAnulty dropping to the bench, despite a relatively solid game at the back on his debut at Worksop.

Wednesday's goalscorer Chris Budrys and Liam Shotton are set to lead the line for Rangers, as Neville Thompson and Alan Nagington work their way to full fitness.
