Albion misfit Luke Moore was today axed from Albion's Premier League plans until January at the earliest.

The £3.5million forward was the odd man out when the Baggies submitted their 25-man squad to the Premier League for the first half of the season.

The decision is not a major shock but represents a new low in the career of the 24-year-old, who was once hailed as a star of the future after helping Villa's youth team reach the FA Youth Cup final.

Young goalkeeper Luke Daniels was the only other senior man left out of the 25, with the 22-year-old expected to leave on loan once he recovers from a back injury.

Albion's list includes 11 'home-grown' players, comfortably exceeding the minimum requirement for eight.

Chris Wood and Joe Mattock do not need to be included in the 25-man list as both can play as under-21 players.
