Albion teenager David Worrall has been allowed to return to League Two and former club Bury on what could become a long-term loan.

The 19-year-old has moved to Gigg Lane for an initial month, having left Gigg Lane for the Hawthorns in a £50,000 deal in March 2007.

Worrall made his debut for the Baggies that August in the Carling Cup as a sub against Bournemouth, his first and only competitive match for the club.

But the midfielder made more than 20 Football League appearances in loan spells at Accrington Stanley and Shrewsbury in 2008/09.

Now he returns to his boyhood club looking for much more than the one sub appearance he made in his first spell.

Bury manager Alan Knill said: "David can play pretty much anywhere."
