Hollywood meets Wolves as Armstrong joins Wrexham night out
Wolves striker Adam Armstrong swapped old gold for a sprinkle of Hollywood stardust on a night out with five former and current Wrexham players.
The 29-year-old, who has notched once in 13 outings since signing from Southampton for a fee of around £7 million, was snapped enjoying an end of season gathering with Altrincham winger Anthony Forde, who came through the Wolves academy himself, before going on to secure back to back promotions with the North Wales giants.

They were joined by fellow former Red Dragons defender Eoghan O’Connell, along with Elliot Lee, Andy Cannon and Tom O’Connor, who have all spent time away from the club on loan this season.
The gang gathered for drinks on Sunday night, as Wrexham’s first teamers enjoyed a swanky black tie end of season gala at the four star Carden Park resort in Cheshire.
Lee enjoyed a fruitful spell on loan to Doncaster Rovers in the second half of this season, while Cannon impressed during a five month stint at Burton Albion. O’Connor has been out injured since January, but did well in more than a dozen games for Peterborough United in the opening months of the campaign.
O’Connell was released by Wrexham early in the season, but joined League One Barnsley on a permanent deal in January.
The season ended for the five history makers on Saturday, so they were able to put their feet up; with Wrexham also narrowly missing out on a place in the play offs for promotion to the Premier League.
But it will have been back to Compton for training today for Armstrong, with already relegated Wolves headed to Brighton on Saturday where they are looking for a first win in seven.
