It has been a time to celebrate for Wolverhampton Grand Theatre after winning one of the most prestigious awards in pantomime.

There have been celebrations among the staff and supporters of Wolverhampton Grand Theatre after it received one of the most prestigious awards in UK Pantomime.

The theatre was awarded the accolade of Best Pantomime Over 950 Seats at the UK Pantomime awards on Sunday for its 2025/26 product of Sleeping Beauty.

The pantomime, which concluded on January 4, has been the most successfully received Wolverhampton pantomime on record with more than 25 five star reviews.

Starring Danny Beard, Debra Stephenson and Zak Douglas with Solomon Davy and Georgia Iudica-Davies alongside longstanding resident Dame and Comic Ian Adams and Tam Ryan, Sleeping Beauty was a completely home-grown pantomime created entirely in-house by Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.
