Dicky was seen talking to 18-year-old BMX Olympian, Sasha Pardoe, from Stourbridge, who was also at the event.

Sasha said: "It's really good to be on the track. It's amazing to have it in the centre of Wolverhampton. It's a bit small but the ramp is good and the course is good.

"It's good to see this event in so close to home."

The first of the event was dominated by Freestyle BMX groups, while Saturday and Sunday will see a mix of break dancing and scootering.

Visiting the event, Rebecca and Drew Potter, of Wolverhampton, said: "It's been fantastic, we have been here for a few hours. It's quite scary how high they get on the big ramp really. It's really good to watch.

"It's great to see events like this come to Wolverhampton. You don't normally get a chance to see these alternative sports events without paying a lot of money. We really need more of these types of competitions."
