Marti Pellow to star in Evita at Wolverhampton Grand
Marti Pellow will be appearing in Evita at Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre, it was announced today.
The Wet Wet Wet star who has forged a career on the West End stage in recent years, will take on the role of Che in the show which will run between August 19 and 31.
During his music career he racked up more than 25 hits, including three of the UK's biggest number one singles.
He has performed all over the world and his West End and Musical Theatre appearances include The Witches of Eastwick, Chicago and Blood Brothers.
Evita tells the story of Eva Peron, the wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron.
Tickets for Evita are currently on sale priced between £14.50 and £32.50.
