The Steve Bull event drew Wanderers favourites such as Graham Turner, Don Goodman, John Richards and Mike Stowell, as well as golfer Peter Baker to the Civic Hall.
The evening started with VIP reception and Champagne receptions before Bully gave a welcoming speech and dinner was served.
Entertainment was provided by a Tom Jones tribute, the Soul Survivors and a Heart FM disco.
The black tie event also gave the ladies a chance to show off their best ball gowns.
The auction was awash with sporting memorabilia including a Zinedine Zidane French jersey, Frank Bruno and Ricky Hatton boxing gloves, a Steve Bull Wolves shirt and David Seaman charity golf event shirt, all signed and framed.
There was also a Led Zeppelin CD covers medley framed to mark 200 million album sales signed by Wolves most famous supporter Robert Plant and signed copies of the new DVD on Steve Bull's life, Steve Bull - Now and Then. Bully said: "It is a great night and tremendous to see friends coming along and being able to let their hair down.
"We do a lot for Promise Dreams and hopefully this will become an annual event."
Mike Davis, from Wolverhampton, was impressed with the auction items. He said: "It's a great selection. I'm considering bidding for the Zidane shirt. I think the World Cup headbutt only adds to the value. I just hope I have deep enough pockets."
Bryony Vale, from Stafford, was thrilled to be at the event. She said: "It's really glitzy and a lot of fun. It's fantastic everyone can enjoy themselves while supporting a very worthy cause."
