Wolverhampton man jailed after police saw pill fall from his pocket then found safe full of drugs
Kirubaharan appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on August 5
A 23-year-old man has been jailed for three years after police uncovered a haul of suspected class A and B drugs hidden inside a safe in Wolverhampton.
Officers attended Thas Kirubahara’s address in Culwell Street on May 3, following up on an incident reported the previous day.
While speaking to Kirubaharan, officers noticed a small green pill fall from his pocket while it was inside a sealed bag.

Their suspicions were raised and a search of the property led to the discovery of suspected class A and B drugs, along with a safe.
Kirubaharan was arrested and officers then saw him attempting to factory reset his mobile phone. Police intervened and seized the device.
A closer examination of the safe uncovered multiple mobile phones, magic mushroom bars, pills, class B edibles, vapes and a bag containing more green pills.
Police also seized scales and bags believed to be associated with the drugs.
Kirubaharan appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on August 5 after being charged with possession with intent to supply class A and class C drugs, as well as possession of class B drugs.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison.
PC Adam Crisp, of West Midlands Police, said: “Stamping out drug dealing and disrupting the supply throughout our communities is always a priority for us.
“The supply of drugs can have a devastating impact on our neighbourhoods and communities and as Kirubaharan has found out - anyone found to be involved will be dealt with and put before the courts.”
Anyone with information about drug dealing can report it to police by calling 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
