Two people were arrested as part of the raid
Police seized weight loss injections, steroids, and class A drugs in a raid on a Shrewsbury property.
West Mercia Police said a man and a woman were arrested at the property in Cross Hill following the warrant on Tuesday morning (August 25).
A statement from the force said: “A man, aged 37, and a woman aged 38, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs after illegal drugs were found at an address on Cross Hill.
“When officers from Shrewsbury's Town Centre Team (TCT) entered the properties they discovered suspected class A and B drugs, as well as illicit prescription medication, steroids and weight loss injections.
“Both people remain in police custody as enquiries continue.”
Sergeant Tom Atkinson from the TCT said: "This morning's warrant demonstrates our continued commitment to tackling the supply of illegal drugs and disrupting organised crime in our communities.
"The discovery of suspected class A and B drugs, illicit prescription medication, steroids and weight loss injections shows the importance of this ongoing work and the proactive action our officers take to protect the public. We will continue to target those involved in criminal activity and pursue every available line of enquiry.
"Information from the public plays a vital role in helping us identify and disrupt organised crime, and I would encourage anyone with concerns about drug-related activity or other criminality in their area to report it to us so we can take appropriate action."
