Police issue update after serious assault in Walsall
A man has been bailed after a serious incident on Bridge Street, Walsall
A 26-year-old man has been bailed while police enquiries continue after another man was found seriously injured in Walsall.
West Midlands Police were called to Bridge Street at 3.45am on Saturday.
A man in his 50s was “taken to hospital for treatment for injuries not believed to be life changing”.
The 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and assault in connection with the incident.
The road was cordoned off on Saturday as police investigated the incident.
