Planes diverted from Birmingham Airport in bad weather

Three aircraft have been diverted from Birmingham Airport this morning due to adverse weather conditions.
An Aer Lingus aircraft from Cork, a Swiss flight from Zurich and an Air France flight have all been diverted to other airports due to the weather.
A spokesperson from Birmingham Airport said: "Due to adverse weather conditions three aircraft, all of the same type have had to be diverted as they were unable to land.
"All other flights, arriving and departing are not affected."
The airport has been blanketed in fog this morning making conditions difficult for pilots to land.
