Traffic delays on busy motorway in Birmingham after car 'spins around' and lorry 'stranded'
Drivers are being warned to expect traffic delays on the A38(M) Aston Expressway at Park Circus in Birmingham this morning (Friday 13 March).
There was a lane closure both ways on the A38(M) Aston Expressway outbound at Park Circus in Birmingham this morning due to two separate incidents.
A car had spun around outbound, and a lorry was stranded inbound.
West Midlands Roads said in an update that the outbound lane has re-opened as the car has been removed. At the time the lorry was still stranded inbound causing a left lane closure.

West Midlands Roads is warning drivers to expect delays.
It said on X: "A38(M) Aston Expressway outbound at Park Circus #Birmingham Lane reopened OUTBOUND.
"The car has been removed. Inbound still has a left lane closure for a stranded lorry. Expect delays."
In its latest update West Midlands Road said it is now clear in both directions and lanes have reopened.
The A38(M), commonly known as the Aston Expressway, is a motorway in Birmingham.
It is two miles long and connects the M6 motorway to Aston and Central Birmingham. It forms part of the much longer A38 route.
