West Midlands rail services face delays and cancellations due to signalling problems in Birmingham
Rail passengers travelling on the Snow Hill Line have been left facing disruption after a fault with a signalling system at Tyseley.
West Midlands Railway warned just after 4pm today (Monday) that services could be subject to delays and short-notice cancellations towards Stourbridge Junction.
It also said that tickets would be valid on bus services between Birmingham and Solihull while the issue was resolved.
A spokesman for West Midlands Railway said: "Due to a fault with the signalling system at Tyseley, train services running through this station maybe subject to delays and short notice cancellations.
"Your ticket is valid for use with National Express West Midlands buses between Birmingham - Shirley and Solihull.
"Network rail engineers are en route with an ETA of 20 minutes. Further updates will follow."
