Overhead wire damage in Staffordshire affects northbound rail services towards Rugeley

Damage to overhead wires in Staffordshire is affecting a number of train services in the area.

Northbound London Northwestern Railway services from London Euston towards Crewe will not be able to call at Rugeley Trent Valley until the issues are solved.

Rail replacement buses will operate in that direction only between Lichfield Trent Valley and Stafford today (October 19).

Southbound services will call at Rugeley, and West Midlands Railway services towards Birmingham New Street are unaffected.
