Train services cancelled between Shrewsbury and Birmingham due to signalling issue
The disruption is not set to last all morning
Trains between Shrewsbury and Birmingham New Street have been hit by delays this morning (October 23).
Early morning disruption has struck commuters and families using Transport for Wales trains between the county town and second city due to an issue with the signalling system on the line near Wellington.
A Transport for Wales spokesperson said: “Services will be cancelled in both directions between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International.
“We expect the incident to last until 10:00am and disruption to services is expected from 07:00 until 11:00am.”
