Traffic delays in Tipton after vehicle crashes into Chinese takeaway

Bus services in Tipton were diverted in both directions after a vehicle crashed into a Chinese takeaway on Princes End High Street.

Due to the incident at Lo’s Garden, buses 11 and 11A were unable to serve their usual route through the affected area and are instead operating via Parkes Lane and Richards Road. However, by 9am the road was reopened as normal.

Police remained on the scene on Wednesday, June 3 morning following the crash the previous evening. A local business employee said the scene had not changed since he opened his store at 7.30am today.

West Midlands Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Midlands Fire Service have been approached for comment.
