Thousands of cat lovers set to descend on Birmingham's NEC for UK's biggest cat show
Visitor numbers have doubled over the last two years.
Thousands of cat lovers are set to descend on the NEC next month ‘one of the biggest days out in the Midlands.’
The Cat Show Live is expected to welcome around 6,500 visitors to the rapidly growing event on Saturday, September 12.
Visitor numbers have more than doubled in just two years, rising from 3,016 in 2024 to 5,187 in 2025.
Attendees will be able to meet more than 30 breeds of cat, including Maine Coons, Sphynx, Bengals, Ragdolls and Persians, and their breeders in the Cat Village, with opportunities to stroke and photograph some of the breeds.

Social media-famous celebrity cats will also be appearing at the event, while three theatres will run throughout the day featuring vets, behaviourists and breed experts.
More than 100 stalls will offer everything from cat food, toys and technology to artwork and other unusual products aimed at feline fans.
A dedicated Hope Alley will bring together rescue charities, raising money and highlighting cats looking for new homes.
There will also be a children's area and a managed quiet zone for neurodivergent visitors.
The event will run from 10am to 5pm in Hall 3.
Tickets are priced at £35 for adults and £27 for children, with family and concession prices available. To book, visit the event website.
