See the moment deer sprints up busy High Street as stunned pedestrians stop to watch 'the Black Country Bambi'
Police and public worked together
Police in Stourbridge were taken on a high-speed pursuit with a difference after a deer was spotted on the loose in the town centre.
Shoppers and police were taken aback when the animal sprinted down High Street earlier this week.
Stourbridge Police shared a video of the animal dashing past parked cars and stunned pedestrians. In the footage at least two people can be seen stopping in their tracks and watching the deer dash by.

“With the help of the public it was contained in a courtyard to await a vet. The Black Country Bambi was fast!”
