A unique dining experience awaits guests as Alton Towers launches an all-new immersive experience
An all-new immersive dining experience has been announced at the country’s largest theme park, deep in the heart of Staffordshire.
Alton Towers Resort has launched Scarefest 2026: Dine with the Dead, a unique experience at the resort, combining dining with an immersive spine-tingling experience.
Dine With the Dead invites guests to a dinner party, hosted by the sinister Lord Vincent and Lady Lucinda Vile as they celebrate 300 years of toxic matrimony.
A spokesman for Alton Towers said: “What begins as an elegant reception soon becomes something far more unsettling, as guests meet the mysterious Vile family and some of their most peculiar acquaintances.
“As the evening unfolds, twisted performances, eerie encounters and unexpected moments bring the story to life, with specialist live entertainment taking place around the dinner table.

“Those who choose to Dine with the Dead won’t just be onlookers as they will become immersed within the story, with every guest playing a central role in the evening's chilling events.”
The experience, which costs £69 per person, includes the cocktail party, the three-course meal and the afterparty, and each part is said to be more terrifying than the last.
For those looking for more exclusive thrills at Scarefest this year, visitors can experience a behind-the-scenes VIP tour of the Final Exhibit scare attraction.
The guided tour of Final Exhibit will include a lights-on walkthrough of the attraction allowing guests to experience a previously unseen view of the scare attraction which was launched this year.
