Staffordshire youngster Bethan donates hair to children's charity

A kind-hearted youngster has donated her luscious locks to a children's charity.
Bethan Hawkins, aged five-years-old, from Great Wyrley in Staffordshire, decided to donate her waist length blonde hair to Little Princess Trust.
The charity provides free wigs, made from real hair, to children who lose their hair to cancer or another condition, to help restore their confidence and identity.
It also funds research that ends childhood cancer forever.
Mum Sarah Hawkins, said: "She decided she was going to do this when she was four-years-old and has been growing her hair for over 12 months.
"She was pleased with how much hair she was able to donate to such a good cause.

"Bethan has also has a Just Giving page and has raised more than £700 so far.
"We are so very proud of her."
Bethan had her long hair cut to shoulder length on July 31.
She has surpassed her original target of £100.
Donations are still coming in for the fundraiser and can be made on Sarah's Just Giving website which she set up on behalf of Bethan.
