On Thursday, July 12 he will be reunited with the car that made international headlines when he presents the winners' prizes at the charity fund-raising JCB Lakeside 5 Fun Run in Rocester, near Uttoxeter.
Hundreds of people are expected to attend the event when the world record-breaking JCB Dieselmax car will also be on public display.
Mick Smith, organiser of the charity fundraising event, said: "It was always going to be a big draw having the JCB Dieselmax car on display, and to have attracted Andy here to present the awards really is a major coup.
"Andy and the JCB Dieselmax are both proven world record breakers.
"I hope having them here could mean we can raise a record amount of money for the NSPCC."
Andy Green added: "I'm delighted to have been asked to present the winners' prizes at this popular event and look forward to witnessing some impressive JCB Fun Run speed records being set."
The JCB Lakeside 5 Fun Run consists of a main five-mile fun run and race, a three-mile race for the under 16s and a three-mile fun run for adults and children.
Entrance fees range from £5 to £8 with all profits going to the NSPCC.
