Siobhan home after Maria final
Lichfield fashion student Siobhan Dillon was back home today after starring in the final of the hit TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?
She and her proud family are catching their breath after a "rollercoaster" period which saw her battle through to the last three of the competition.
Millions watched as the 22-year-old came third, missing out to Connie Fisher, aged 23 from Pembrokeshire, who won the public vote.
Anxious friends and family bombarded voting lines with calls but Siobhan finished third on Saturday night.Mum Cathi said: "I will be pleased to get back to a normal way of life, it has been an emotional rollercoaster.
"I was really tense all day on Saturday, I felt as though my whole body was going to explode, I was in a constant state of stress.
"But when I got there Siobhan looked so happy and relaxed so I relaxed."
Mrs Dillon said the studio "exploded" when Andrew Lloyd Webber said he had been approached by a major recording company interested in talking to her.
"We are keeping our fingers crossed for that," said Mrs Dillon.
