Shropshire chef Adam Purnell is set to bring his culinary skills to the stage at Download Festival 2026.
One of Shropshire's most recognisable food entrepreneurs is set to make his mark on one of the UK's biggest music events.
Adam Purnell, better known as the Shropshire Lad, is scheduled to appear at Download Festival 2026 next week.

Thousands of rock fans are set to descend on Donington Park, near East Midlands Airport, between Wednesday (June 10) and Sunday (June 14), with headline performances from Guns N Roses, Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.
According to Clash Finder, Shropshire Lad is scheduled to give a cooking demonstration on the Hellfire Stage at 6.20pm on Sunday (June 14).

Purnell, who has amassed a whopping 54.6k followers on Instagram, is widely recognised for his food content and outdoor cooking videos.
He also is the proud owner of Embers in the former Green Wood Café in Coalbrookdale, which opened in 2023.
The woodland café quickly became popular, leading to extended opening hours to meet demand.
The business has since expanded, taking over the kitchens at The Park pub in Wellington and Baked Bean, a bakery and coffee house on Waterloo Street in Ironbridge.
