Appeal to identify man after distraction burglary near Birmingham
Police have released an image of a man they hope to identify after a woman, in her 80s, was targeted by a distraction burglary near Birmingham.
Police say that at around 3pm on February 4, a man tried to convince the pensioner that he had carried out gardening work at an address on Malcolm Road, Shirley.
He demanded payment despite the woman stating that she did not recall doing.
West Midlands Police officers have carried out enquiries including reviewing CCTV footage but have been unable to identify this man.
