A Stafford primary school has paid tribute to a much-loved young man who was killed by a falling tree as he is laid to rest.
Brodan Dubickas died after being struck by a tree in the town’s Holmcroft Park on May 2.

The death caused an outpouring of grief in the community with tributes being laid out in the park and thousands donated to a fundraiser for his family.
Yesterday (May 25), the 15-year-old was laid to rest at Stafford Crematorium Chapel with a service at 11.30am attended by his loved ones and the lives he touched in the local community.
Following the funeral, Brodan’s former primary school, Tillington Manor Primary School posted a tribute to the ‘much-loved young man’ on their social media after some of their staff attended to pay their respects.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Yesterday, family and friends came together to say goodbye to Brodan Dubickas.
“It was a truly beautiful service and a fitting tribute to a much loved young man who touched the hearts of so many people within our school and wider community. The love shown for Brodan and his family was incredibly moving and reflected just how special he was.
“As a school community, we continue to hold Lindsey, Alan, Corey, Kayla and Amelia close in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Sleep peacefully, Brodan.”
