Road closed due to 'police incident' in Walsall town centre

A road in Walsall town centre has been closed due to a ‘police incident’.
Bridge Street has been closed due to the incident, which was first reported just before 6.30am today (Saturday) on the AA route planner.
A post on the website said: “Road closed due to police incident on Bridge Street.
“Both ways from Lower Rushall Street to St Paul's Street. Diversion in operation - Bus route affected 9.”
Transport for West Midlands also posted on social media that due to an incident near Walsall bus station, bus services were affected.
The post said: “Due to an incident near to #Walsall bus station, there are some alterations to which buses use which bus stands, and the way some buses access the bus station.“
