Twenty-seven community pubs will be offering free drinks to celebrate St George’s Day - but there’s a catch.
For one day only, 27 community pubs in the West Midlands will be offering free drinks to customers tomorrow (Thursday 23 April) to celebrate St George’s Day.
However, only customers with the name George, Georgia, or any other variation of George, will be able to grab a free drink.
They just need to make sure to bring a valid ID along!

The pubs are part of Proper Pubs, the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which has more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland, and Wales.
St. George's Day is celebrated annually on 23 April to honour the patron saint of England, marking the anniversary of his death in 303 AD.
Known for the legend of slaying a dragon to save a princess, St. George is a symbol of bravery.
Celebrations in England include English Heritage events, parades, and flying the St. George's Cross flag.
