Lucky residents on streets in Black Country and Wyre Forest scoop £1,000 in People's Postcode Lottery

It has been a great start to the year for People's Postcode Lottery players in parts of the Black Country and Wyre Forest after their numbers came up, netting them £1,000 a ticket.

Two postcodes in Wolverhampton and one each in Oldbury, Kidderminster and Walsall were selected as winners in the People's Postcode Lottery in draws held between January 10 and 21.

There were two winners in the draw held on January 10, with winning ticket holders for WV11 1BH, which covers Blackhalve Lane in the Scotlands area of Wolverhampton, and B68 9JN, which covers Wilson Road in Olbury were announced among the 20 daily UK £1,000-a-ticket prize draw winners on January 10.

There was also joy for ticket holders in WS3 1PW, which covers Ashfield Close in Walsall, as they also scooped £1,000 from the daily draw on January 16, while ticket holders at WV9 5FD, which covers Celandine Drive in Coven, were also winners of £1,000 from the draw on January 20.

Finally, ticket holders at DY10 3AR, which covers Hill Grove Crescent in Kidderminster, were lucky recipients of £1,000 in the draw on January 21.

Players pay £12.25 a month to enter the daily draw and be in with the chance of winning £1,000 per ticket.

Thirty per cent of the money from ticket sales goes directly to charities, with more than £700 million raised to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.
