The pub closed in January this year
Plans to refurbish and extend a shuttered pub near Bridgnorth have been revealed.
A proposal extend and refurbish The Danery in Quatford have been submitted to Shropshire Council.
The pub had been a popular haunt for bikers and classic car owners when then-owners Tina and Mark Freeman closed the doors in January 2026.

The pair had taken over the pub in 2020, just six weeks before the first Covid-19 lockdown was put into force.
Under the new plans by Tamworth-based The Danery Group Ltd, the building would be extended to provide dining room for a restaurant and a function space.
The extension and renovation of brick outbuildings to the rear of the building would also be carried out to create three one-bedroom holiday let units.
The planning application is open for public consultation until November 9 and available to view on Shropshire Council’s planning portal using reference number: 26/03851/FUL
